Doing well with money isn’t necessarily about what you know. It’s about how you behave. And behavior is hard to teach, even to really smart people.

Money―investing, personal finance, and business decisions―is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world, people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together.

In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money and teaches you how to make better sense of one of life’s most important topics.

What Is Graphic Designing? A Beginner’s Guide.

Graphic designing is the art of visual communication. It involves using images, symbols, colors, shapes, typography, and layout to create a message or design. There are many different types of graphic designers, including illustrators, animators, web designers, motion graphics artists, and type designers.
The first step in graphic design is to understand what the client wants their product to communicate. Once they have determined what they want the final product to look like, they need to decide how they want to present the information. Next, they choose the tools they will use to create their work. Finally, they begin working on the project.

Graphic Designing

There are three basic steps involved in graphic designing

1. Research

This is where the designer does research about the subject matter. They may read books, watch videos, visit websites, talk to experts, and do whatever else they feel would help them gain knowledge about the topic.

2. Planning

In this stage, the designer creates a plan for the project. They think about the purpose of the project, who the target audience is, and how they want to present their ideas.

3. Creation

In this stage, everything comes together. The designer starts creating the actual artwork. They start by sketching out ideas on paper. Then, they move on to computer programs like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. After that, they add color and texture to make the image more realistic.
Once the design is complete, the designer sends it off to the client. If the client likes the design, then the job is done! However, if the client doesn’t like it, then the designer goes back to the drawing board and tries again until they get it right.

What Does A Graphic Designer Do?

1. Graphic Designing involves using various tools, software, and techniques to create visual elements that communicate ideas, information, and messages. Graphic designers work closely with clients to develop concepts, research trends, and design solutions. They may also collaborate with developers, writers, photographers, illustrators, videographers, and others to produce final products.

2. A graphic designer’s job includes researching, analyzing, planning, sketching, testing, and refining designs until they meet client expectations. They may use computers, printers, scanners, and other equipment to complete projects.

3. Graphic designers often have bachelor’s degrees in fine arts, communications, advertising, marketing, or related fields. Many employers prefer candidates who have experience working in print, web, video, or multimedia formats.

4. Graphic designers earn about $50,000 per year. Salaries vary depending on location, industry, and education level.

5. Graphic designers spend much of their time communicating with clients, coworkers, and supervisors. They may need to explain their decisions and the rationale behind them.

6. Graphic designers may work long hours and travel frequently to meet deadlines.

7. Most graphic designers work full time, although some freelancers choose to freelance only part-time.

8. Graphic designers may specialize in certain types of projects, such as logos, brochures, advertisements, websites, and posters.

9. Graphic designers may get involved in many aspects of production, including writing copy, editing content, designing layouts, and selecting fonts and colors.

10. Graphic designers may work independently or under the supervision of senior designers.

11. Graphic designers may need to learn how to use different computer programs and applications.

12. Graphic designers may need specialized skills, such as knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, and QuarkXpress.

13. Graphic designers may need training in business management, project management, and communication skills.

Importance Of Graphic Designing

The importance of graphic design cannot be overstated. A well-designed logo can make a company stand out from its competitors, while a poorly designed logo can leave a bad impression on customers. Similarly, a website that looks unprofessional may deter potential clients from visiting the site. Graphic design is a skill that requires creativity, attention to detail, and a good understanding of how people perceive information.

  4. Graphic designers need to learn about business and marketing. They need to be familiar with the latest trends in advertising and marketing. They need a basic understanding of economics and finance.
  5.  Graphic designers need to possess strong computer skills. They need to know how to navigate the internet and use search engines to find information. They need to be proficient in using word processing programs like Word, Pages, and Excel.
  6.  Graphic designers need to understand the importance of branding. Branding refers to the way a company presents its products and services to consumers. Companies spend thousands of dollars each year developing brand identities, logos, slogans, taglines, and other forms of corporate identity.
  7.  Graphic designers need to develop a portfolio of their work. Portfolios showcase the types of projects they have worked on and give potential employers a sense of who they are and what they can do.
  8.  Graphic designers need to keep abreast of current events and industry news. They need to stay informed about the latest technologies and developments in the field.
  9.  Graphic designers need to maintain professional relationships with colleagues and peers. They need to network and build contacts with other professionals in the industry.
  10. Graphic designers need to take advantage of opportunities to expand their knowledge and skill set. They need to seek out continuing education courses and workshops. They need to attend conferences and trade shows related to their profession.
